Welcome to velvetmade.app. By using this website you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language because legal-speak rarely helps anyone.

1. What velvetmade.app provides

velvetmade.app is a browser-based photo-editing tool that lets you apply creative filters and effects to your own photos. All preview and editing happens locally in your browser. When you choose to download a full-resolution result, an encrypted copy is stored privately in your account for 30 days so you can re-download it from your profile.

2. You keep the rights to your photos

You own — and continue to own — the rights to every photo you upload, edit and download. We never claim copyright, license or any usage rights over your images. The edited result is also yours.

3. License to use the effects

You can use velvetmade.app and the effects you create for any purpose, including:

• Personal projects (social media, prints, gifts)
• Client work and freelance projects
• Commercial products (album art, marketing material, prints for sale)
• Editorial use (blogs, magazines, newspapers)

You may not resell or redistribute velvetmade.app itself, or scrape, copy and republish the website's code or assets without permission.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use velvetmade.app to create or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, infringes third-party rights, or sexualizes minors. We may block or terminate access without notice if we discover misuse.

5. Free and paid features

Most of the site is free — every effect can be customized and previewed at no cost, and preview-resolution downloads are free. Full-resolution downloads use a credit system. Each new account starts with 3 free credits (3 full-resolution downloads); additional credits can be purchased.

6. Purchases and refunds

Credits are non-refundable once spent on a download. Credits expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Full-resolution download files stored in your profile are kept for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted — download to your device to keep them permanently. If a payment is charged and credits are not granted due to a technical error, contact us for a refund or correction.

7. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for keeping your password secure. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

8. Availability and changes

We try to keep velvetmade.app available 24/7 but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Effects and features may be added, changed or removed over time. We aim to give notice for significant changes.

9. No warranty, limitation of liability

velvetmade.app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to lost work, lost credits, lost time or lost revenue.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
