Free for commercial and personal use — no attribution required. You can use every effect and every edited photo from velvetmade.app for any project, including paid client work and products you sell.

What you can do

Everything you create with velvetmade.app is yours to use, freely, in any context:

Personal projects — social media posts, prints for your own walls, gifts, portfolios, blogs, hobby work
Client work and freelance projects — websites, branding, photo retouching, editorial illustrations, design commissions
Commercial products — album covers, book covers, posters and prints for sale, merchandise, packaging, advertising
Marketing material — ads, landing pages, social media campaigns, email newsletters, presentations, brochures
Editorial use — magazines, newspapers, blogs, news articles, journals
Modification — you can further edit, combine with other images, layer, crop, recolor or otherwise transform the output in any tool

You do not need to credit velvetmade.app in your work, although we always appreciate it.

You own your photos and your edits

The photos you upload to velvetmade.app stay yours. The edited results you download stay yours. We never claim copyright, license or any usage right over your images or what you make with them.

Because all editing happens locally in your browser, we never see your photos — so there is nothing for us to claim rights over even if we wanted to.

What you cannot do

The free license covers anything you create with velvetmade.app. It does not cover the website itself. You may not:

Resell or redistribute velvetmade.app itself, or a copy of its code, assets, effect algorithms, or texture files
Scrape, mirror or republish the website
Use velvetmade.app to create or distribute material that is illegal, infringes someone else's copyright, defames a person, or sexualizes minors

Photos you upload must be yours to use

You're responsible for having the right to use any photo you upload. velvetmade.app' license to you covers our contribution — the effect, the textures, the algorithm — not the underlying photograph. If a photo isn't yours, make sure the photographer or rights holder allows the use you intend.

No warranty

velvetmade.app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. You use it at your own risk. We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the service or the edited outputs you create with it.
